How to Get in shape without going to the gym
by Adestratore Didoneita

You can get back into shape without the embarassment
of going to a gym or a fitness center.
Its really easy and doesn't require you to buy any
fancy equipment or do any exercise videos.
What's the answer? Bodyweight exercises and simple walking.
Don't stop reading because it sounds too good to be true.
Your body was designed to move, so all yo need to do is
to make it move by doing simple things that are a natural
part of what God intended you to do before TV and video
games were invented.
Here's a simple, easy to follow program that only takes 10-
12 minutes per day and will get you started:
I walk briskly up a hill near my house at least 5 times in
a row. The hill is not too steep and is about 150 yards
long. I walk up and I walk back down. Up and down = 1 rep,
so in 5 reps you will walk about 1500 yards or a little
less than a mile. If you can't do 5 reps, do what you can
and then build up to 5.
You should be able to walk the hill in around 12-14 minutes
depending on how fit you are. After you have started losing
weight, you should start jogging up the hill and then
eventually sprinting up the hill.
You will lose weight by walking up the hill, but the weight
will melt off by sprinting up the hill. Sprinting up hills
releases the same hormone that was in your body when you
were younger and thinner.
Walk the hill every other day and be sure to take off one
day per week from exercise completely.
On the days that you don't walk the hill, do some pushups
and some deep knee bends. Take your time on both and only
do 4-5 of each, if you can. Take it slow, if you are like
me you haven't exercised in a while so it will be hard. If
you are having a hard time with either the pushups or the
knee bends, don't go down as far.
For instance, on the knee bends, only go 1/4 of the way
down, not all the way down. You will start to strengthen
your legs, knees, thighs, etc. After a short time, you will
be able to go deeper.
Just do the pushups and knee bends twice a week.
After a week or two, you will start to feel better and see
some changes to your body. They will not be dramatic at
first, but very soon, everything will start to tighten up.
It doesn't matter what you do, just do something even if
its only for 4 or 5 minutes a day. Anything will help and
you'll feel better too.
